The Bangladesh Breastfeeding Foundation (BBF) is closely affiliated with several international organizations committed to maternal and child health, nutrition, and breastfeeding advocacy. BBF actively collaborates with the following key international partners:
International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN)
BBF is a part of IBFAN, working to monitor and enforce compliance with the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes in Bangladesh. BBF also serves as the IBFAN South Asia Coordinator and is a member of the IBFAN Global Council, contributing to global efforts to protect breastfeeding and ensure ethical practices in the promotion of infant nutrition.
World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA)
BBF aligns with WABA’s mission to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding worldwide through awareness campaigns, including World Breastfeeding Week.
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)
BBF collaborates with UNICEF on programs related to breastfeeding, maternal and child health, and complementary feeding.
World Health Organization (WHO)
