1. BBF closely worked with government to gazette BMS Act 2013 and its rules 2017. BBF drafted both the documents.
2. BBF actively advocated for 6 months paid maternity leave which has been gazetted in 2011.
3. BBF provide technical support to develop National Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) strategies in context with Global IYCF strategies.
4. BBF advocate to form National Advisory Committee of BMS ACT and National Breastfeeding Committee. Now both committees are active.
5. Every 3-5 years BBF has been conducting WBTi assessment with the support of government, UN, health professionals, academics and other civil society partners to assess national policies and program on Breastfeeding and IYCF.
6. BBF played vital role to create Nutritionist post in every Govt. hospitals.
7. BBF closely worked with government to gazette Nutrition policy, NPAN-1 & 2 and other national policies.
